Most African countries have fewer than 2 doctors per 10,000 people, especially in rural areas. How can we use technology to expand access to essential and put a doctor in every household?
Over 60% of Africa’s unemployed are youth, and by 2050, the continent will have the world's largest population of young people. what ideas, tools, or platforms can we million new job opportunities for African youth?

STEP 1
Sign up on www.kidinnovation.africa/challenge and upload a pitch deck or presentation summarizing your solution.
STEP 2
Shortlisted Applicants or teams are notified and invited for a preliminary interview by August 31, 2025.
STEP 3
10 outstanding Applicants will be invited to the Demo Day to pitch their ideas to our Jury comprising visionary Founders, Investors and tech experts.

ABOUT THE CHALLENGE
Kids Innovation Challenge 2025 is an initiative of The Destiny Trust’s Kids Innovation Hub to empower underrepresented children with technology and arts skills and support them to develop their innovative ideas. The challenge offers young innovators an amazing opportunity to compete with others and get on a pathway to greatness with mentoring and further learning opportunities.

Children age 10 - 17 years in public school or low-incomeprivate schools and young secondary school leavers from low-income backgrounds.
